To help you, you have Star Balls (mini smart bombs), that will destroy anything around you (except for the diamonds), so if you are having trouble figuring out which next step is safe, you have a life line in the form of the Star Balls. Each level (by BadBumble) is of course randomly generated each time you play it and there is always a safe path, no matter how hard or unlikely it may seem. The first level shows the player where the actual mines are, so the idea of how the numbers relate to the bombs should help make the game mechanic click in the players head.
